During this event, the sudden darkness could instill panic amongst the people in the building leading to hazardous incidents. Therefore it is extremely crucial that all buildings must have Emergency Lighting exit systems installed.

This type of light runs continuously and is connected to the building’s lighting system. During a power outage will operate at a lower light output level. Maintained Emergency & Exit lights are addressable and can be easily found out in case of replacement/damage. We Supply and install maintained emergency lights in Abu Dhabi as per ADCD Standard.
A Non-Maintained Light is fitted with its own rechargeable battery. This light is connected to the main electrical lines of the building for charging. During an outbreak, these can provide lights up to 3hrs. As per ADCD, non-maintained lights are not preferred. However, for renewals and maintenance, it is permissible.
A central monitoring system monitors emergency and exit lights systems and other components of emergency and exit light systems. We supply and install monitoring emergency light system as per ADCD Standards. Monitoring systems make maintenance and fault rectification easy.
Central Battery System for Emergency Lighting means, that the backup power source for the Emergency and Exit Lights is provided centrally. In other words, each Emergency and Exit Light does not need to have a battery or supercapacitor of their own. As per ADCD, it is necessary to have central battery systems in some buildings.
